Security Experts have found a security risk in the "Search Across Computers" feature in Google Desktop Beta 3. The security risk in the non-Enterprise version lies is the use of a remote server to store the index results of your Google Desktop Beta. Google only stores this for 30 days and claims that it is encrypted and inaccessible to the public except for a small set of Google employees. The primary problem here is if sensitive files are indexed.
