Starbucks will be launching its Banana flavoured drinks tomorrow in major stores all over the Metro. The new line up will include Banana Caramel, Banana Mocha and Banana Creme Frappuccino. New pastries will also be launched to tie up with the event.
What's in it?
We requested a trial of the Banana Creme Frappuccino and found that the drink is your basic blended Creme Frappuccino with Banana syrup. Topped with whipped cream, chocolate drizzle and creme brulee powder, the Creme version is tangy and closely tastes like a banana split.
The way of the Coconut
Banana is just a recent addition to the lineup where several years ago a Coconut lineup was unsuccessfully introduced. Starbucks has also removed their cookie based drink, the Rhumba Frappuccino which has been phased out of all local Starbucks stores.
The Banana flavoured lineups will be released tomorrow and will be available all throughout summer. Check out your local Starbucks for events related to the launch.
