Sunken Galley
Captured with a Kodak Disposable Camera in Coron, Palawan on Monday, 31 May 2004 7:54 amLast modified on Sunday, 15 May 2011 10:35 pm
Nature works its wonders
What happens to a sunken galley when left to nature's wonders? It becomes a beautiful reef teeming with fishes and coral. This one is still off Coron, Palawan and is rather a recent discovery. The ship is in about 15 feet of water and lies on it's port side. You can still see most parts of it in clear day light although it's not the best thing to explore for divers since it doesn't have that much features. It's a delight for snorkelers though as a pump boat can easily navigate you to it.
