Coffee Bean and Banana Leaf
Rain softly fell on the lounging people of young and old, slightly delaying their enjoyment of overly hyped cups of coffee and tea. Like the slowly closing makahiya leaves that shy from each drop, they gather their drinks and move in to the comfort of the warm coffee house.
I picked up my pace as the gentle rain started to throw a tantrum. Sheltered by the menagerie of shops that were suddenly abuzz with people who were taking leave from the spite, the rain started to tire down and a slow stroll found me. It led me away from the crowd and towards the further end of the long line of shops. Therea row of 3 rather delightful statues found me and seemed quite glad that their prayers have been answered by the recent blessing.
