It was a simple assignment - divide the price of Apple's newest iPhone with the minimum wage per country less the cost of living to see how many months you need to "save" to buy the new iPhone. We uncovered a sad fact - except in Singapore, you simply will not earn enough to live in these countries. The cost of living simply does not reach the minimum wage based on the Numbeo statistics (we even removed cigarettes, movies, and buying any clothes to try to fit the minimum wage). So now, assuming you do not eat, drink, or pay rent, we have the number of months you need to work to afford the iPhone 7 plus.
