Google Earth recently launched Google Earth Outreach which maps non-profit organizations and other benefits right into Google Earth allowing you to view which organizations are near your city or area. They also unveiled a new feature that allows users to view refugee hot spots like Darfur and Iraq with the help of UNHCR (United Nations High Commission for Refugees). Users can now zoom in real close to these hot spots using Google Earth and see for themselves what's really going on in these camps.
